Biography
Since 1997, the Irvine, California, law office of Walsh
& Walsh, P.C. has represented employers, and both
individuals and classes of employees in litigation
concerning discrimination claims, wage and hour claims, and
disputes over working conditions. The firm's goal is to
bring the workplace of every employer and employee we
represent into full compliance with California law.
For over a decade, firm founder Michael J. Walsh has been
engaged in civil litigation in state and federal trial and
appellate courts. Mark A. Walsh joined the firm in 1999 as
an employment litigator. Michael Walsh received his
undergraduate education at California State University,
Fullerton and graduated near the top of his law school
class at the University of Southern California. After law
school, he worked as a litigator at major California law
firms such as Pettit & Martin and Cox, Castle &
Nicholson before founding his own law firm in July 1996.
Mark Walsh received his undergraduate education at Whittier
College and graduated near the top of his law school class
at Western State University, joining the firm in 1999.
Firm attorneys are members of the Consumer Attorneys
Association of Los Angeles, the California Employment Law
Association, the Orange County and Los Angeles County bar
associations, and the State Bar of California and are
admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of
Appeals, and all Federal District Courts in California.
Michael Walsh is also a member of the bar for the U.S. Tax
Court and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Since 2002, the firm has represented more than 200,000
employees in the California court system and has collected
tens of millions of dollars in wages for them.
