Construction litigation: more than 1,000 construction-related lawsuits, including construction defect defense, defense and prosecution of construction liens and bonds, licensing issues, delay and contract disputes and prevailing wage issues. Several dozen trial victories, just one trial defeat in 16 years. Within the past two years, defended and settled three different unrelated construction defect cases for zero dollars.

Employment litigation: more than 100 employment lawsuits, individual and class action; numerous seven-figure settlements, numerous class certifications and three appellate victories that each resulted in multi-million dollar settlements.

Tort litigation: more than 100 tort cases; undefeated jury trial record in both state and federal court; million dollar settlements and judgments in personal injury, wrongful death, sexual assault and business tort cases.

Commercial debt collection: more than $20 million in collections; successfully negotiated reduced payments for dozens of commercial debtors; tried or settled numerous Fair Debt Collection Practices actions, including one in which we obtained punitive damages in U.S. District Court against an attorney who misrepresented a settlement in state court.

Michael Walsh received his undergraduate education at California State University, Fullerton and graduated near the top of his law school class at the University of Southern California. After law school, he worked as a litigator at major California law firms such as Pettit & Martin and Cox, Castle & Nicholson before founding his own law firm in July 1996. Since founding his own firm in 1996, Mr. Walsh has represented more than 100,000 clients in the California court system.
